During the Championship Tour season, World Surf League competitors will receive either an Apple Watch Ultra or Apple Watch Series 8 before each swim. They will have access to the WSL Surfer app, which will provide athletes with key information.
So, WSL Surfer is synchronized with the systemWSL scoring in real time. This provides competition athletes with the information they need, including results, wave priority and race times, right on their wrist.
Before officially introducing the Apple Watch this year, WSL tested the technology over the past two seasons to ensure it was up to par.
