Apple will release two pairs of new AirPods in late 2019 - early 2020

Well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shared further assumptions that Apple will release not one, but two

pairs of new AirPods at the end of 2019. One model will replace the 2nd generation AirPods and will cost the same.

The second model will have a new design and morehigh price. Kuo did not talk about the changes and new features of this model, but he believes that the new design will reduce the cost of manufacturing headphones. Both models will be released at the end of this or the beginning of next year.

The number of AirPods has remained limited since their release, so headphone manufacturing is clearly not easy. The company is going to solve this problem with a new more economical design.

Another source says that Apple will release noise-canceling AirPods this year. There were also rumors that the headphones will have new health sensors, but this is unlikely to happen in reality.

The release of new AirPods will result in Apple selling 75 to 85 million pairs of AirPods in 2020. As of 2019, the number will be about 52 million.

Now we know for sure that Apple is working onnew AirPods with noise reduction. It is not known when they will be ready to leave. The company recently released AirPods 2, whose release was delayed for a couple of months. Perhaps the same thing will happen this time.
