Apple developers have released a beta version of macOS Catalina 10.15.5 for MacBook with one very useful innovation.
What is known
We are talking about a manager with an intellectualcharge control, which should extend battery life. Thanks to it, laptops will no longer charge to 100%, because frequent full charging negatively affects the battery. In this case, users will still see a 100% indicator in the status bar, but the charge will actually be less.
The intelligent manager will be able to create a charging algorithm itself, depending on the condition and parameters of the battery. According to Apple, this change will not affect battery life.
Who will receive
All Apple laptops with support for Thunderbolt 3 will receive the function. That is, these are MacBook Pro models starting from 2016 and MacBook Air models from 2018.
