APU for the first time showed Belgian howitzers M109A4BE at the front

Last summer, information appeared that the UK would buy approximately two

a dozen Belgian M109 self-propelled howitzers. Six months later, artillery installations were spotted at the front.

What is known

Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the first time published photos of the M109 howitzer in combat conditions. The Belgian version of the self-propelled gun is called the M109A4BE.

In June, the media wrote that Great Britain was planningpurchase 20 M109A4BE units for Ukraine from the private Belgian company FTS. However, in September information appeared about 28 self-propelled howitzers purchased at a price of €15,000 per unit.
