Modernization of the training aircraftwas handled by the local company Redimec. Now Embraer EMB 312 Tucano has modern equipment with touch panels, new navigation and communication systems. The level of security has also been improved.
The country's air force is planningto upgrade the Embraer EMB 312 Tucano in accordance with the new military tasks and extend the service life. Redimec began work on upgrading four aircraft at the end of 2021.

EMB 312 Tucano is a light two-seater aircraftfrom Embraer, equipped with a turboprop engine. The aircraft is available in T-27 and AT-27 modifications for training and combat missions, respectively. The plane can reach speeds of up to 458 km/h thanks to a 750 horsepower engine.
The maximum payload weight is 1000 kg. Embraer EMB 312 Tucano is equipped with an integrated 12.7 mm machine gun and can carry adjustable or free-fall bombs.
