This was announced by Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov.The head of the department stressed that self-propelled artillery mounts have not just arrived in Ukraine, but are already fully helping the Armed Forces at the front.

Recall that the last time we mentioned the M109 in Ukraine was almost a month ago. Then it became known that our military uses 155-mm M549 high-explosive shells with a flight range of up to 30 km.
M109 is an American self-propelled howitzer,which is built on a tracked chassis and equipped with a Detroit Diesel 8V1T engine. The maximum speed is about 56 km/h. In addition to the 155 mm M126 cannon, the artillery mount is equipped with a 12.7 mm M2 Browning machine gun.
