Armed Forces of Ukraine showed how the Slovak modernized RM-70 Vampire MLRS are used at the front, which fire 40 rockets in 20 seconds

Information has already appeared on the network that the Ukrainian Armed Forces received modernized versions of the RM-70 Vampire MLRS from Slovakia.

Now the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade has published a video of the system in action.

What is known

The video shows the operation of one installation.Such an MLRS is capable of firing 40 high-explosive fragmentation shells of 122 mm caliber in 20 seconds. The firing range is 20 km. One of the features of the RM-70 Vampire multiple launch rocket system is its fast reload time - only 2 minutes. In addition, it boasts a digital fire control system.

The RM-70 Vampire MLRS is built on a truck chassisTatra T-815-7 car with a Tatra T3C V8 engine with a power of 270 kW and a Tatra 10 TS 210 N gearbox. The MLRS has an armored cabin and is capable of accelerating to 90 km/h.
