On May 25, 2022, at 22:35 Yerevan time, the first space satellite of Armenia was launched on a SpaceX rocket from Cape Canaveral in the United States into Earth's orbit.

Pashinyan added that the satellite was launched into space as a result of cooperation between the Armenian state company Geokosmos and and Spanish Satlantis.
