Arrived: World Health Organization classifies love as a mental illness

As it turned out, a few years ago the World Health Organization introduced such a feeling as

love, in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD). Discuss

WHO experts believe that love can beclassified as a mental illness because the condition involves a number of "symptoms": obsessive thoughts about another person, mood swings, sleep problems, rash and impulsive acts, various types of physical ailments.

The situation was commented on by a Russian psychologistMikhail Samadurov. According to him, the ICD does not describe love, but a painful condition that has nothing to do with love. Indeed, love can be accompanied by dependence on the object of feelings or lack of reciprocity, but still the norm is joy. According to experts, love problems belong more to the field of psychology than psychiatry.

At the same time, it is characteristic that WHO experts began to consider love as a disease, while gender dysphoria, when a man feels like a woman, and vice versa, was removed from the list of diseases.
