According to experts, created by themartificial intelligence is able to correctly recognize the appearance and age of a person in 99.95% of cases, even with a closed face. At the same time, in 80.9% of cases, the algorithm understands whether a person is smiling in a veil or in a medical mask. For this, the eyes are analyzed.
It is reported that the project was based on a convolutional neural network. As part of the testing, scientists used a database consisting of photographs of 150 people: men and women aged 8 to 78 years.
