This picture was made by the artificialintelligence called Midjourney. She used the description given to her by Allen (that's the name of the winner) to generate this image. The situation sparked controversy on social media, where working artists and enthusiasts accused Allen of hastening the death of the creative profession.
"I knew it would cause controversy,"– Allen wrote on Discord. “How interesting to see that all these people on Twitter who are against AI-created art are the first to throw the human under the bus, discrediting the human element! Don't you think this is hypocrisy?
The fact is that it took Allen about a hundred attempts and several weeks to achieve the ideal result, while he still processed the final work manually.
“I know what will come out of this in the end, they will just create a category of “artificial intelligence art”, as I believe, for such things,” concluded the winner of the competition.
