Astronomers have discovered a "forbidden" planet larger than Jupiter, the existence of which refutes all scientific theories

Recently, an international team of scientists using the James Webb telescope discovered six “impossible” galaxies. They

were mature after several hundred millionyears after the Big Bang, and their total mass was greater than the mass of the Universe at that point in time. Now scientists have added a headache to the “forbidden” planet, which violates all theories.

What is known

Astronomers discover gas exoplanetTOI-5205b. It is about the same size as Jupiter. But there is a nuance. The exoplanet revolves around a red dwarf, the mass and size of which is almost two times inferior to the Sun.

TOI-5205b orbits the star TOI-5205.It is a red dwarf of spectral type M4. The mass of the star is 0.392 solar masses, and the radius is 0.394 solar radii and 1.03 Jupiter radii. It makes one revolution around its luminary in 1.63 Earth days. How the Sun, the exoplanet TOI-5205b and the star TOI-5205 look compared to each other, Shubham Kanodia tried to reflect.

According to current theories, a red dwarfTOI-5205 does not have enough mass to form a protoplanetary disk in which planets like TOI-5205b could form. However, the exojupiter does exist. It was discovered using the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS). The space telescope is designed specifically for this purpose.

TOI-5205b is located 280 light years from Earth. Probably, now the James Webb space telescope will take up the study of the "forbidden" exoplanet.
