ASUS introduced the ROG Phone II with a Snapdragon 855 Plus processor and a 6000 mAh battery

Last year, ASUS released its first gaming smartphone under the Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand. Now a Taiwanese brand

has unveiled its next phone for gamers, the ASUS ROG Phone II.

What is known

ASUS ROG Phone II has6.59-inch 1080p OLED display with integrated fingerprint sensor, 10-bit HDR support and 120Hz refresh rate. Asus says the 49ms touch latency is the lowest of any phone. When you initially set up your smartphone, you can choose between Android or ROG software.

The device runs on a new gaming processorSnapdragon 855 Plus with higher performance compared to the standard Snapdragon 855. Asus has equipped the gadget with an advanced cooling system.

Also, ROG Phone II has 12 GB of RAMmemory, support for up to 512 GB UFS 3.0, a dual main camera of 48 MP and 13 MP, a 24 MP front camera and a 6,000 mAh battery. According to the company, users will be able to play PUBG for about 7 hours on a single charge.

In addition, Asus will release an updated linegaming accessories for the new device: ROG Kunai gamepad with two separate controllers, TwinView Dock II, cases and AeroActive Cooler fan.

Asus hasn't announced the price yet, but it's expected to be around $900. The new product should go on sale in early September.
