ASUS Reveals What's New in Motherboards for Socket AM5 and AMD Zen 4 Processors

AMD Ryzen 7000 processors are due to be released at the end of August, so motherboard manufacturers have begun to show

their respective decisions. ASUS has already presented three AMD X670E AM5 motherboards for Zen 4 chips. Discuss

These are the flagship ROG Crosshair X670E Hero Extreme, the cheaper ROG Crosshair X670E Hero, and the ROG Strix X670E-E Gaming Wi-Fi.

All three ASUS motherboards, of course,will support AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors. In addition, all motherboards will feature powerful VRM CPUs capable of delivering hundreds of watts of pure power to maximize overclocking potential.

Motherboards will also have four slotsfor DDR5 memory, multiple PCIe 5.0 slots, USB ports, and Wi-Fi 6E support (on more expensive models). In addition, some AM5 models will offer M.2-22110 slots for high capacity SSDs via adapter, 2.5GbE or even 10GbE connectivity.

ASUS ROG motherboards will also support the company's Q-Design features to make it easier and faster for enthusiasts to remove and install new components.
