ASUS ZenBeam E2: Compact Projector with Built-in Battery and Wireless Connectivity for Android, iOS and Windows Devices

ASUS unexpectedly unveiled its new ZenBeam E2 wireless projector.

received a compact body and boastsbuilt-in G-sensor, which is responsible for the Auto Portrait function. It automatically detects the position of the projector and switches the picture between horizontal or vertical orientation.

The projector can display a picture with a diagonalup to 100 inches, WVGA (854 × 480p) resolution, 16: 9 aspect ratio and 300 lumens maximum brightness. ZenBeam E2 supports wireless projection with Android, iOS and Windows 10 devices. The gadget is equipped with a 5-watt speaker with ASUS SonicMaster technology. It has HDMI and USB Type-A ports.

The novelty is powered by a built-in battery, which should last up to 4 hours of video playback. Unfortunately, ASUS has not yet disclosed the price tag and launch date for ZenBeam E2.
