The research company spent two months,continuously evaluating the effectiveness of 34 different antivirus programs on different viruses to see what has passed and what hasn’t. And, to everyone's surprise, Windows Defender came out on top with paid F-Secure, Kaspersky, and Norton.
He also scored a near perfect scoreWindows Client Business users, losing half a point in the usability category. This is definitely a big win for Microsoft. Vice President Brad Anderson says half a billion PCs around the world are already connected to Defender. This may be due to frequent update pop-ups, but given the test results, it's a pretty reliable solution.
