Bad news for those waiting for the Realme GT 3 Pro

Last winter, Realme GT 2 Pro was released - a rare premium smartphone for the brand, which was remembered for its “paper”

cover, advanced 2K screen, record-breaking150-degree width and, of course, the top-end chip at that time, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It would be logical to assume that the company is preparing a successor for this winter in the form of the Realme GT 3 Pro. But, alas, a Digital Chat Station insider brought bad news: the device project was canceled back in the summer.

However, even at the presentation of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2attentive viewers may have noticed that Realme was not included in the list of companies planning smartphones based on this chip. However, the fate of the regular Realme GT 3 without the “Pro” is still unknown - it is quite possible that it will become the only model of the new generation GT, and will be based either on Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 or on one of the MediaTek 9000 series chips.
