BAE Systems Receives £80M To Keep Germany, Spain, Italy And UK Eurofighter Typhoons Ready

The British company BAE Systems will continue to service avionics in European fighters of the fourth

generation of Eurofighter Typhoon.

BAE Systems has been awarded an £80m contract.The manufacturer will provide continuous maintenance and repair of key equipment (screens, helmet-mounted displays, flight controls) of German, Spanish, Italian and British air force fighters over the next five years. This guarantees them a constant readiness for deployment.

Avionics service and support isthe core business of BAE Systems in Rochester, UK. Specialists from the Coningsby air base of the Royal Air Force of Great Britain will take part in the work.
