Basic Redmi K60 gets screen, camera and battery details

In the next couple of weeks, the flagship Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro will be launched, immediately after which the company will begin

preparations for the Redmi event, the hero of whichwill be the Redmi K60 line. The Digital Chat Station informant, who a week earlier talked about the cameras of the older K60 Pro, today switched to the base model K60. It is credited with a 48-megapixel main module with OIS stabilization, which, however, was also offered by the previous Redmi K50. No changes are expected in the battery, the capacity of which remains at 5500 mAh.

Another source confirmed the use of the chipsetMediaTek Dimensity 8200, the details of which we found out yesterday, as well as a Chinese-made display with an eye protection function (most likely, we are talking about high-frequency PWM). The debut of the Redmi K60 series is expected in January-February 2023, but now at least one of the models is being prepared for launch in Russia.
