The developers of the remake of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare from Infinity Ward have already spilled the beans that they plan to increase the scale

multiplayer battles. Gamers were not promised anything, but now official confirmation of the 64-player mode has appeared.

According to Charlie Intel, Modern beta playersWarfare for PlayStation 4 received a message in which Infinity Ward announced a new mode. In Ground War, gamers will be able to try out the new map Karst River Quarry, where 64 players will fight - 32 vs 32.

“On Saturday, September 21, during the secondBeta weekend, we'll take your multiplayer experience to the next level. On the new map Karst River Quarry you will be able to try 32 vs 32 battles in a new mode - Ground War,” the message says.


According to Game Informer, Ground War will havefive key areas that players must capture. At the same time, gamers can use bonuses for a series of kills, as well as equipment such as armored personnel carriers. It is unlikely that Ground War will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive, so Xbox One and PC owners will also be able to try out the mode.
