A few days ago, TCG Anadolu joined theTurkish navy. This is the world's first ship designed to deploy unmanned aerial vehicles. Up to 11 drones can be placed on the deck, and up to 30 units in the hangar. The video for the first time showed how Bayraktar TB3 and Kizilelma are located on the deck of the ship at the same time.
The ship itself is equipped with Phalanx anti-aircraft guns.CIWS, Aselsan STOP RCWS artillery mounts and RAM anti-aircraft missile systems. The SPN-720 radar station ensures the landing of aircraft in all weather conditions.
In addition to Bayraktar TB3 and Kizilelma on board TCGAnadolu can accommodate 29 helicopters, 13 tanks, six armored personnel carriers, 33 vehicles, 15 vans and 27 marine landing vehicles. The ship's crew consists of 1223 sailors.
