The Turkish company Baykar officially presented the Bayraktar Kizilelma strike unmanned aerial vehicle.

The drone was announced back in the summer of 2021.In more than 12 months, several photos of the drone have been published, and the first pictures of the second prototype appeared the other day. However, the official presentation of Bayraktar Kizilelma took place only today, August 30, as part of the Teknofest Black Sea aerospace festival in the Turkish city of Samsun. The event will end on September 4th.

Bayraktar Kizilelma is a shock drone,equipped with Ukrainian AI-322F and AI-25TLT engines. There will also be a modification with the Turkish TF-6000 engine. The company plans to produce drones in Ukraine along with other attack UAVs (Bayraktar TB2 and Akinci).
Bayraktar Kizilelma will be able to carry usefulload weighing 1500 kg. The maximum flight time will be 5 hours, and the range will be 930 km (Bayraktar TB2 has 150 km). Practical ceiling - 12 km. The drone is being developed under the MIUS (Muharip İnsansız Uçak Sistemi) program. Modifications with TF-6000 and AI-322F engines will be supersonic, and the version with AI-25TLT will be able to reach speeds close to supersonic.

It is assumed that Bayraktar Kizilelma unmanned aerial vehicles will be launched from the TCG Anadolu amphibious assault ship. Test flights of the carrier-based drone are scheduled for 2023.
