Beat Apple chipsets: Samsung's ambitious plan and timeline

When Samsung announced plans to create its own chipset for Galaxy smartphones in April, Samsung made it clear that it would not

interested in developing the current Exynos onARM Cortex cores, which are subject to fair criticism. Today, new details of the Korean tech giant’s plan have appeared on the Internet. According to tipster @TheGalox_, in July Samsung Electronics will create a joint working group for the semiconductor and smartphone divisions, which will have about 1,000 employees. Their main goal will be a simple but extremely ambitious task: “by 2025, prepare a chipset that will surpass Apple Silicon solutions”. Will the Koreans succeed? We'll find out in a couple of Galaxy generations.
