Due to the coronavirus, the protests “transitioned” in online games

The British magazine Dazed published an article in which it spoke about a rather unusual influence

coronavirus on people's lives - according to journalists, due to quarantine, protests in Hong Kong began to take place in online games. And all because people cannot go out onto the city streets.

So, protesters create in the game AnimalCrossing: New Horizons banners that say "Free Hong Kong, Revolution Now." They also print directly in the game photos of the head of Hong Kong Carrie Lam, and then instantly destroy them. So far, there is no information about the reaction of the authorities to a similar method of demonstrating their disagreement.

Recall that at the time of writing,around the world, there are about 1.35 million cases of coronavirus infection. At the same time, up to 80% of all cases occur in the following seven countries: USA, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, China and Iran.
