Bloomberg writes that Apple is trying to reduce its costs by cutting employees.
What happened and why?
So, last week the company fired about 100their recruiters, who worked on a contract basis and were involved in hiring other employees. They were told that the cuts were due to changes in Apple's current business needs.
At the same time, the corporation promised wages and medical benefits within two weeks.
Recruiters were laid off in many regions, including Apple offices in Texas and Singapore.
The media call this decision unusual for Apple.since in recent years the company has been actively recruiting staff. Apple CEO Tim Cook has confirmed that the company will be “thoughtful” in its spending, even as it continues to invest in some industries. The cuts appear to come amid a major economic downturn.
At the same time, full-time employees were not affected by the layoffs.
