Belgium will give the Armed Forces M2HB heavy machine guns, this is the Belgian version of the American Browning M2

We recently wrote that Belgium will send heavy machine guns to Ukraine. As it turns out, we are talking about

M2HB.

Defense24 writes about this.The M2HB is manufactured by FN Herstal. This is essentially a Belgian version of the American 12.4 mm Browning M2 machine gun, which was developed at the end of the First World War. The machine gun can be used against infantry, unarmored and lightly armored vehicles, boats and aircraft at low altitudes.

By the way, in addition to M2HB machine guns, Belgium alsowill provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with ammunition, winter equipment, spare equipment, helmets and night vision devices. The amount of the new aid package is €12,000,000.
