Asked to choose from a list of 40entrepreneurs had the greatest positive impact on society over the past 50 years, respondents named the founders of Microsoft, Amazon and Apple, as well as the founder of SpaceX Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, the head of Meta (recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned).
Many also mentioned such historicalpersonalities like Henry Ford, Alexander Graham Bell and Thomas Edison. However, 48% of respondents believe that today's entrepreneurs are more influential than their predecessors. 20% of respondents think the opposite.
Respondents around the world also agreed that it takes certain character traits (19%), “one great idea” (15%), and hard work (14%) to become a successful entrepreneur.
