Electronic Arts itself, but also gamers.

What is known

Back in last year, Kotaku journalist JasonSchreier said that developers are working on “Anthem 2.0” or “Anthem Next.” After the release, BioWare realized the mistakes and decided not to just patch the game, but to change the gameplay, progression and loot system. Now the journalist’s words have been confirmed by the studio’s General Director Casey Hudson.

On the Activision blog, the manager wrote that Anthemawaiting “more significant rethinking than renewal.” In the coming months, the team will focus on redesigning the core, including the gameplay loop, challenges, and progression. BioWare abandoned the planned “road map” last year, and now they have explained what they will do specifically.

At the same time, Anthem will continue to evolve.BioWare promises to release new events, update the store, launch content from past seasons like Cataclysm, and so on. Hudson did not name the exact release date for the conditional “Anthem 2.0”.
