Blizzard announced Overwatch 2, showing new heroes and first gameplay

Blizzard has confirmed a third leak, Overwatch 2 was announced on stage at BlizzCon 2019.

story missions, as well as the new Onslaught mode.As stated in the leaks, battles in the new conditions will take place on a map based in the local Toronto. The developers also added "heroic missions", which Blizzard described as co-op missions with a focus on story. Overwatch 2 generally relies on PvE, so now players will be able to fight not only against each other, but shoulder to shoulder.

Already existing characters will receive an updateappearance, and Overwatch 2 will feature “lots” of new heroes, like Echo and Souljorn. Blizzard only showed off the newcomers briefly, but promised to reveal more over time.

Players will be able to transfer earned rewards,like icons, emotes and more from the original Overwatch to Overwatch 2. In addition, both games will exist in parallel, replenished with new heroes, maps and other content.
