BlizzCon 2019 schedule: Blizzard is preparing six secret announcements and Diablo 4 is no exception

Blizzard managed to make a splash even before BlizzCon 2019 thanks to the “Hong Kong scandal,” and judging by the schedule, the event

will turn out to be no less loud.

What to expect

At first glance, the schedule looks standard.In addition to the main stage, Blizzard is preparing booths for World of Warcraft, Overwatch, StarCraft 2 and Hearthstone, where they will announce news regarding the projects. The schedule for the Opening Ceremony is intriguing, with two premieres titled “Coming Soon.” It seems that Bethesda doesn't want to reveal all its cards in advance and is preparing big announcements.

Suspicions fall on Diablo 4, on its premierewhich has already been hinted at in two leaks. Firstly, a Metro insider said that the game will be presented at BlizzCon 2019. Secondly, the fourth part of the series is mentioned in the art book for the Diablo universe, which will go on sale on November 3. In addition, Bethesda itself announced last year that it was planning to announce a large project in the universe.

According to rumors, along with Diablo 4, the second Overwatch will be shown on stage, as well as a remaster of Diablo 2. World of Warcraft will also not stand aside, and Bethesda may announce the next addition.

The opening ceremony of BlizzCon 2019 is scheduled for November 1 at 21:00 Kyiv time. There will be six events marked “Coming Soon”:

  • November 1 from 22:30 to 23:15.
  • November 1-2 from 23:30 to 00:15.
  • November 2 from 22:15 to 23:00.
  • Night from November 2nd to November 3rd from 00:30 to 01:15.
  • Night from November 2nd to November 3rd from 01:30 to 02:15.
  • Night from November 3rd to November 4th from 01:15 to 02:00.
