The Boeing 747 Cosmic Girl took off from the Mojave Aerospace Port in California. At an altitude of 10 km, he launched a LauncherOne rocket with seven space agency satellites.

This is Virgin Orbit's fifth successful launch and the first to take place at night. Note that only the test launch in May 2020 ended in failure.
