Boeing Receives $3.1 Billion to Build KC-46A Pegasus Air Tankers for Israel and US

Boeing received contracts for the production and supply of air tankers KC-46A Pegasus.

What is known

A few days ago, Boeing signed cIsraeli Ministry of Defense contract worth $927 million for the supply of four tanker aircraft. Deliveries will last until December 2026. This is part of a procurement program under which Israel will also receive fifth-generation F-35 Lightning II fighter jets, submarines, advanced munitions and helicopters.

Boeing signed another contract withUnited States Air Force. The company will deliver 15 KC-46A Pegasus aircraft by November 2025. The value of this deal was $2.2 billion. Thus, Boeing received two contracts for a total of $3.1 billion.
