Boeing's revenue increased to 17.9 billion, while net loss decreased to $425 million

During the reporting period, Boeing's revenue increased by28% and amounted to $17.921 billion versus $13.991 billion in the first quarter of 2022. The company was able to deliver 130 aircraft in three months versus 95 units a year earlier. They generated revenue of $6.704 billion. Revenue in the Defense, Space & Security increased by 19% and amounted to $6.539 billion.

Boeing again ended the first quarter with a loss,but its size in comparison with the base period decreased almost three times - $425 million against $1.242 billion. The loss per share was $0.69 against $2.06 last year.

After the publication of the financial statements, the costBoeing securities rose 4%. The American company announced plans to increase the supply of 737 Max liners to 38 units per month by the end of the year. It is expected that the total deliveries of Boeing 737 Max aircraft in 2023 will amount to 400-450 units.
