Bomb Rush Cyberfunk: an arcade game about hooligan skaters in the spirit of the cult Jet Set Radio

The spirit of Jet Set Radio is alive, and the guys from Team Reptile have resurrected it in their new project Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.

Jet Set Radio began in the days of the Dreamcast.inviting gamers to become street skaters who listen to pirate radio and paint graffiti on the walls. Judging by the trailer, in Bomb Rush Cyberfunk players will have to do the same thing, but now in new scenery. In addition, the Bomb Rush Cyberfunk soundtrack is composed by Hideki Naganuma, one of the composers of Jet Set Radio.

According to the developers, gamers will be able to choosea character with whom they will explore a 3D city. There is no open world in Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, and the levels are represented by large areas of the city at different times of the day. The goal of each task is to become famous by painting graffiti throughout the city.

The game will not be released this year, and the developers don’t even name an approximate release date. However, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk has already received a page on Steam, where the project can be added to your wish list.
