An electric seaplane is being developed to navigate coastal areas.
Now you can look at the sketch of the seaplane:its maximum speed in the air, according to the developers, is up to 300 km / h. The scale model will have a wingspan of 4.5 meters and a weight of 180 kg.
According to the idea, the seaplane will float likesea vessel, and then accelerate on hydrofoils and take off. The new mode of transport may become a popular alternative to fossil fuel transport.
Tests of the prototype at a scale of 1: 4 are expected before the end of this year. Based on the test results, a project will be prepared to create a full-fledged version of the aircraft.
