In 2023, we will see a large number of very different games created for different generations of players. Gamers
Discoverers: games with new worlds
Let's be honest - we all love sequels to games (likeand films or books), allowing you to immerse yourself again and again in a world that has already become familiar and receive a new portion of emotions, adventure and dopamine. But we are also always open to new things that open up new worlds, game mechanics, as well as new types of weapons, monsters, tactics and much, much more. Therefore, let's start with games that represent worlds created for the first time and still unfamiliar to us.
Miasma Chronicles: a post-apocalyptic thriller with turn-based tactics
New product that the developers are working onpost-apocalyptic game 2018 Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden. “Miasma” is either a force or matter hostile to humanity (perhaps both at once), which led humanity to decline and global destruction. The main character of the game is a guy named Elvis, armed with a power glove (its work is shown in the trailer). Together with his companions, among whom there is a robot and an eccentric scientist, from whom only one head remains, he will have to understand all the intricacies of the plot and overcome the miasma (and/or what is behind it). In addition to events taking place in real time, the game is distinguished by tactical turn-based combat, which brings it closer to the classic versions of Fallout.

In turn-based battles, it is not instant reaction that is valued, but tactical planning skills, patience, cold calculation and the ability to take an advantageous position before battle.

Skull & Bones: online pirate captain simulator with multiplayer mode
One of the most unusual games of 2023is being developed by Ubisoft and offers to plunge into the fascinating and extremely unsafe world of filibusters who use a skull and crossbones as the flag of their ship (it is not a fact that the player will have such a flag, but the name of the game obliges). This is also the World of Warship of the golden age of piracy. And a role-playing game (you will need to interact with the characters, for example, purchasing everything you need for sea battles and successful raids). And an economic simulator - every core will count (and it costs money), plus there are trading opportunities. They promise modern graphics and multiplayer with a “5 on 5” team game mode. Character and ship customization, various vessels and weapons are available. You can register for the beta test now.
