It is a small round device that can becan be attached to any pair of glasses and programmed to display virtually any information, as its software is open source.
Brilliant Monocle features a color OLED displaywith a resolution of 640 x 400 pixels and a field of view of 20 degrees. In addition, it has a microphone, built-in touch buttons, a 5-megapixel camera that can shoot 720p video, and 8 MB of flash memory.

Monocle comes with an operating systembased on MycoPython and supports Bluetooth 5.2 for connecting to a phone or other device using the Brilliant mobile app for iOS and Android.
The 70mAh battery provides up to 2 hours of battery life, and the 450mAh battery case provides another 6 full charges.
