The UK competition watchdog has published its final market research report.
The CMA experts came to the conclusion that sothe so-called duopoly of Apple and Google is evident. Companies have a steady profit in the mobile ecosystem market, they, in fact, "own all the cards." That is why you need to give other companies "an equal chance to compete."
The CMA also proposes to start an in-depthan investigation with two focuses, one on mobile browsers and the other on Apple's restrictions on cloud gaming through the App Store. In addition, the regulator announced that it is taking enforcement action against Google regarding its payment methods in app stores. The IT giant is suspected of anticompetitive actions.
