Google's plastic smartphone turns out to be stronger than glass competitors

A popular YouTube blogger from the JerryRigEverything channel decided to test the killability of the new mid-range smartphone from Google -

Pixel 4a. Surprisingly, the device in a plastic case turned out to be noticeably stronger than its more expensive competitors made of glass.

Foreign journalists point out that the Pixel 4a is notonly brought users back to 2013 due to its similarity to the Nexus 5 (both externally and in terms of price), but also showed that even in 2020 smartphones can be as strong and durable as seven years ago. Also, experts noted that due to the use of a more old-fashioned fingerprint scanner (on the back, not in the display or on the side), the device unlocks much faster than other modern phones.

Recall that Google introduced the Pixel 4a inearly August 2020. A smartphone based on Snapdragon 730G with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage costs only $ 350 or 27,000 rubles.
