Capcom announces two million copies of Street Fighter 6 sold

Street Fighter 6 received great success immediately after its release – the game was well appreciated by both critics and ordinary players (92

and 62 points on Metacritic, respectively).And another indicator of success was the number of copies sold in five weeks – 2 million. The developers themselves reported this figure on their Twitter account:

What is known

This is an impressive figure, especially for a fighting game.It looks like Capcom will still be able to reach its goal of 10 million copies sold over the life of the game. In comparison, Street Fighter 5 sold about 600,000 copies less in its first six weeks and fell short of its original goal of 2 million sales. In seven years, the game was bought about 7 million times, making it a best-selling home console.

Considering that Street Fighter 6 launched in a much better condition, there is no doubt that it will continue to sell consistently well.

Street Fighter 6 is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Windows.
