CAT S52: “indestructible” smartphone with protection MIL-STD 810G, IP68, Helio P35 processor and a price tag of 500 euros

new - CAT S52.

What is known

Like previous models, the new device receivedaluminum frame and rubberized rear panel. The case of the device has a thickness of 9.69 mm and is protected by the military standard MIL-STD 810G. It can also be immersed in water thanks to IP68 certification.

CAT S52 screen covered with tempered glass GorillaGlass 6. By the way, the display here is with a 5.65-inch IPS-matrix and with a resolution of HD + (1440 × 720p). For the performance of the device meets the eight-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM (can be expanded with a microSD card).

The smartphone also installed a battery on the 3100mAh with USB-C port and fast charging. According to the company, one battery charge is enough for 23 hours of talk. The device works out of the box on Android 9 Pie, but the company promised to upgrade the device to Android 10 in the near future.

Price and when to wait

CAT S52 will appear on the shelves of European stores in November. They will ask for 500 euros for it.
