Loitering ammunition was able to successfully hitanti-aircraft missile systems "Tor-M2". A video of the use of kamikaze drones was published by volunteer Sergey Pritula, who in the fall of 2022 raised money to buy RAM II.
The price of one loitering ammunition isseveral tens of thousands of dollars. The video shows how two anti-aircraft missile systems of the Russian army were hit with their help. The cost of one Tor-M2 is $25 million.
RAM II is a kamikaze drone developed onbase of the reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle "Leleka-100". Loitering ammunition can fly 55 minutes, has a cruising range of up to 30 km and is capable of carrying a payload weighing 3 kg.
RAM II can drop anti-tank, thermobaric and high-explosive fragmentation shells on enemy positions. For target identification, an FHD camera with a 10x optical zoom is installed on board.
