Check out new images of Mars from China's Tianwen 1 probe

The device sent three pictures: two of them in black and white, one in color.Pictures were taken from a height of 330 to 350

They show craters, ridges and other details on Mars.

The probe will stay in orbit for about three months. After that, it will be landed on the surface in the southern part of the planet to launch the rover. The name of the latter has not yet been announced.

The color image shows the planet's northern polar circle.

Recall that in July last year, China successfully launched the Tianwen-1 probe for the exploration of Mars.The mission reached Mars as planned in February 2021 and is due to make a descent to the surface in May.

The probe will awaken the planet for another three months.
