The EV's design features a mash-up of aesthetics from several sci-fi franchises, including Tron and Avatar. But other than showing off the exterior, Nissan hasn't shared any details about the EV concept, likely because the company has no plans to build a production version any time soon, if at all.
When the company first introduced Max-Out, itpromised to develop 23 electrified vehicles and launch 15 new EVs by 2030. The company has not committed to going all-electric by the end of the decade, but has said it is targeting a mix of electric and gas vehicles. In particular, the company aims to have 75% of electrified cars on the European market, and 40% in the US and China. One of the electric vehicles the company has launched since its 2021 announcement is the Ariya, Nissan's first electric crossover, which has a range of up to 188 km depending on the variant.
