China decided to achieve superiority in artificial intelligence

China has identified artificial intelligence and quantum physics as key areas of priority for

development.

In addition, the list includes integrated circuits, brain sciences, genetics and biotechnology, clinical medicine and healthcare, as well as exploration of the depths of the Earth, sea, space and polar regions.

Now China will increase funding for research in these areas. This is part of a five-year plan, one of the goals of which is to achieve superiority in the technology race with the United States.

The Chinese Prime Minister also named the areas inwhich can be achieved "major breakthroughs in core technology." These are high-tech semiconductors, operating systems, computer processors and cloud computing.

By 2035, China plans to achieve a breakthrough in core technology and become one of the most innovative countries in the world.
