China launches device to track asteroids close to Earth

A satellite from Origin Space was launched into space; it is called the first Chinese optical telescope with a wide

field of view that works in normal and ultraviolet light. It will identify the asteroids closest to Earth.

The company Origin Space plans to use its new development to create a map of asteroids that could presumably contain minerals.

It is also expected that the satellite will be used for exploration of natural resources, monitoring of the ecological situation, warning of natural disasters and other purposes.

Hisea-2 is designed for remotemonitoring the ecology of the sea space, and TKSY01-TJ, according to some reports, is associated with Chinese military projects. Nonetheless, local media say the satellite will be used to train and train university teams in orbital maintenance of equipment.
