What is known
Camouflage is called InvisDefense. It was developed by a group of graduate students from Wuhan University as part of a cybersecurity innovation competition, where they were able to win first place. By the way, the competition was held with the support of Huawei.
Postgraduate students tested their development inuniversity. Outwardly, it looks like a regular cloak with a camouflage pattern, but for AI-based security systems, it is an invisibility cloak. The accuracy of recognizing surveillance cameras with artificial intelligence has more than halved (by 57%). However, students plan to improve InvisDefense.

Camouflage is able to deceive the recognition systemboth during the day and at night. A special image is applied to the clothes, which misleads artificial intelligence in the daytime. When analyzing in infrared light, wiring comes into play, generating heat and creating an unusual thermal pattern, hiding a person from camera lenses.
The cost of InvisDefense will be $70 if the clothesgets to retail. The graduate students also noted that they plan to create the same camouflage for vehicles and think about how to deceive satellite tracking systems.
