Circular exchange: Germany will transfer 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles to Greece, and 40 Soviet BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine

German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht announced a round-robin exchange of infantry fighting vehicles,

which is being prepared by Greece, Germany and Ukraine.

What does it mean

According to Lambrecht, the terms of the deal meanthat Germany will transfer to Greece 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles, which were repaired by German industry. And Greece will send Soviet BMP-1s to Ukraine - also 40 units.

This circular exchange has already been agreed upon and is in its final stages.

Thus, from this we can conclude that Germany is still not going to supply Marder to Ukraine.
