The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 family of tablets was expected to be released this spring, but it’s already May on the calendar, and the official announcement

I still haven't heard anything. However, some details about the characteristics and timing have appeared online.

What and when to expect

The line is expected to include at least twomodels: Mi Pad 5 and more powerful Mi Pad 5 Pro. But it is possible that there will be a third version. At the same time, the older model should receive an LCD display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz, In-Cell active pen technology and a WQXGA aspect ratio with a resolution of 2560x1600. That is, these will be tablets with top-end specifications that will compete with the iPad Pro, Galaxy Tab series and Huawei Mate Pad Pro devices.

Recently one of the representatives of the family wascertified by the 3C authority, which revealed the capacity of its battery. More precisely, it will be a dual battery of 4260 mAh, meaning the total figure will be 8520 mAh.

And the other day, talking with fans of the brandOn Weibo, Xiaomi Director of New Products Wang Teng Thomas let it slip that Mi Pad 5 should only be expected in the second half of the year. That is, perhaps the tablets will be presented in July or even later.
