has officially confirmed that an animated spin-off of the popular thriller has been in development for over a year.

Anime called "Stranger Things":Tokyo' (Stranger Things Tokyo) will tell the story of twin brothers - fans of video games who lived in Tokyo in the 1980s. The creators claim that the animated series will be radically different from the original source, but its fans will not be disappointed.

The number of episodes is still unknown, but the total running time, according to Duffer, will be about six hours. The anime will most likely only be available on Netflix.
